There are those of you who still need the Database I class to complete your degree, but have found that the class is full/closed. Dr. Scammell says room is available for a few additional students, should they send him an e-mail at rscamell@uh.edu.

The Fall ’09 Semester is fast approaching. Look out for MISSO around Bauer during Rush Week (Sept. 1-3) and be sure to drop by the Cougar’s Den on September 3rd at 6pm for our first meeting, where we will be featuring a presentation by Hitachi.

MISSO recently had a change in their cabinet. Chris Svochak will be stepping up to fill the recent vacancy in the Corporate Relations Officer position. Chris brings both professionalism, as well as a vast technical expertise, so we’re excited to have him join the team! Be sure to congratulate him when you see him in the hall.
