The Management Information Systems Student Organization is the premier business information technology student organization in the C.T. Bauer College of Business that strives to put each member in the best position to succeed as students and professionals. We provide opportunities for our members to get involved and connect with other companies for potential future jobs.

What are the benefits for joining?

Why yes there is! One of the many perks of joining MISSO is our exclusive career mixer that is only available for our members. Also, we reached out to previous alumni members for their stories on how MISSO changed their lives to give you a glimpse of how beneficial joining our organization can be!

Who can become a member?

Anyone can sign up to become a part of our community! You do not have to be an MIS major to join. We accept all majors even if you are not a part of the Bauer College of Business.

Is there a dress code for meetings?

Dress code is unique for each of our MISSO Events. All of our Professional Meetings require a dress shirt or polo with slacks or chino pants. Details for dress code can be found on our Newsletter and Instagram/Facebook events page for the exact type of dress code to expect for our upcoming events!

What events does MISSO have?

MISSO provides numerous amounts of professional events from companies hiring for consulting and industry positions. MISSO also holds its own career fair that brings out well known companies looking specifically for MIS students.
